Great Crested Grebe
Canon EOS 1Ds MKII, 600mm f4 IS, 1.4x conv G1548, G1321, f7.1, 1/1000, ISO 500, RAW, RSE, Boat.

Hi All,

As well as the Peregrine's yesterday me and Stu had a pair of Grebe's that done a couple of close "swim by's".
First time I've had these birds in my viewfinder so was a real bonus for me to get some images. Colours/tones may be off as I've done the processing on my uncalibrated laptop.

All comments welcome

Regards

Rob

Nicely done Rob........and from a boat

Colours look good on my screen, although i suspect it could be tweaked further {maybe a touch flat}.

a good looking grebe shot, could do with a touch more contrast perhaps.

The repost is much improved. It just need some punch. Nice composition with room for the grebe to swim into. Try a lower shooting angle next time. :toast: :toast:
