Hi,

As noted in Bretts earlier post we had a good days photography. It was a huge pleasure to 'work' with a knowledgeable and very amiable young man.

I am still in the very early stages of processing but thought this image illustrated how hard it is to get the tongue flick.... look at my shutter speed, it is still not sharp...

Once again Brett, thanks for a great day (still got 4 gigs to get through)

Phil

Great capture, however a smidgen off the bottom to remove some of the OOf rock would enhance an already excellent image, IMHO.

Not sure you need to have the tongue frozen rigid Phil, as is shows it's moving.
Also not sure that you're focused on it's eye here, either that or my eye is needing tested

Cheers,
John

I like this one a lot Phil, Shows the animal at it's best and you're right about that tongue..! I like the 'whole' animal shot and there is lots of detail throughout. Thanks for sharing and look forward to more from yesterday..!

Kind regards,

Beautiful colour and light. I think the DOF is spot on here with the majority of the snake in focus and the clear background. Wouldn't worry about the tongue as it would have sacrificed the DOF. Great job! :toast: :toast: :toast:

Lovely rich colour Phil, and an attractive arrangement of the coils.

Catching the tongue brings it to life, and makes for a very fine shot :toast: :toast:
