I recently purchased a new scanner with my tax return, and as such, I've begun slowly working through last years images. I have my work cut out for me, but it's good to get moving on things. This was taken pretty close to peak color last fall. I was doing a wide angle shot of this creek (which turned out well), but I found myself drawn to this little pocket of light. I've been messing with the precise color balance for some time, trying to get the right "feel"...it's getting close, but I might simply be going nuts at this point. I'm sure it will look slightly different on various monitors anyways. Thanks for looking.

Joel I'd say that is a good use of your economic stimulus payment/tax return! Thanks for sharing. Awesome colors.

Really like the colors. Glad to see some trying to get the economy rolling again. Still waiting for my tax return.

I do love this shot! The colors in the water are fantastic. The way the reflected fall colors get picked up through the flow makes me anxious for October. Very nice, Joel.

The color balance looks good to me, Joel, as does the composition. Love the autumn colors reflected in the upper portion of the image!
