Grey wagtail Male.
Spent about two hours with this bird today.
When I arrived it had been perching nicely on a sluice gate the side nearest to me. Most of the time it had the annoying habit of alighting on the opposite side renedering the leading edge well ot of focus. Coupled with the fact that as the day went on it got duller and duller. Surprised the teail is almost frozen given the slow shutter speed.

Love the 'inquisative' pose.. perhaps lose a little from the top and right...

Great pose and good catch-light in the eye considering the dwindling weather conditions. Before I read the text I thought the platform was a 'headstone'..

Good one Major.
I agree with Phil - little off the top and right might help the balance a bit.

Lovely shot.
Have to admit I agree with Philh, it will take the birds eye away from being too central.

A nice picture Major, especially with the light in such short supply.
