Puffin Rock
I spent most the day trying to get this shot but I kept clipping the birds in half or the bird that was landing wasn't in the right position, but I Liked the pose of the Puffin in Flight on this one and also tthe fact the others are watching him land.

Canon 1D MK11, 500mm Lens, F4, 1/3200, ISO 200.

Hi Danny

I really like this capture, your patients has paid off, to get all the birds sharp and looking in the right direction is inspiring. :toast: :toast:

Very well done indeed, excellent timing and well captured. Great use of DOF and controlled to show all birds in focus. Superb work.

Tremendous effort. If the birds in the picture are interested in what's going on, the human audience can't fail to be.

A bit different to the usual puffin shots, and it definitely works well :toast:

Cheers,

Perfectly times. Live the composition and all the eye contact between the birds. A real moment in time. Love it. :toast: :toast:

I love this shot, very different to the usual Puffin pics. I would be tempted to increase the canvas on the left to give the bird more room to fly into.

This is a wonderful scene. All those other birds watching him land. Money in the bank.

Excellent, the positions of the Puffins in the frame are perfect, with space below the flying bird for it to drop into, and the attention of the surrounding birds round the scene off perfectly, good one Danny.
