Magnolia Falls last week
Seems like Gale had asked about seeing a shot of Magnolia Falls from last week - so I thought I would post this one. It seemed like the flow was better than what's shown here, but I guess you take what you can get. Easy to see why it's called Magnolia.

Very nice Bill. What a lovely waterfall. The Magnolia adds sooo much to this shot! I really like having a strong close object in wide shots. I try to incorporate this when I can, but at times struggle with overall focus. I really need to pay attention to the hyper-focal point more. This looks real good, levels and focus. I love the brightness of the leaves, and the hint of ferns by the falls. Well done!

Man you can sure find the comps Bill. Another comp that in my book is absolutely perfect! And if that weren't enough, you shoot it in perfect light! Way to go partner!

Pretty soon your portfolio will be as big as the Little Rock phone book.

Thanks Brad and Wayne. I don't know about a portfolio as big as the Little Rock directory, but good shots do seem to be coming a little more often.

Bill another beauty, great job positioning the leaves and keeping them sharp. Wish it had a little more water coming down as I'm surre you do also. I haven't explored this one yet I'll have to look it up.
