Red Kite
Hello everyone.

This Friday I went to the UK to meet up with Danny Green, his son and Vincent Jones. I had the best time at the owl center but more about that later.
On the saturday we went to Gigrin.
The kites were absolutely amazing and it was so good to see Danny's son being so passioned about nature. It will be a great photographer that's for sure. I want to thank them both for being such great company.
Here's my first Red Kite shot.

iso 400 1/1000 sec. F5.6 hand held

Glad you enjoyed your trip to local Mid-wales Edwin - you had some good weather I know (can be really tricky there in harsh mid-day sun) and a half decent guide too

I like the drama of this, and the action makes up for the inevitable out of focus nature of the lower bird, and is a classic Gigrin shot.

Amazing shot, Edwin, one of the best RK shots I've seen. Sharp, with a touch of movement blur in the wings that I like, and great framing, a very well balanced composition.

Superb shot Edwin! Great timing and I love the expression on the lower bird's face. Top composition too.

You Know he comes over here and has one go at Red Kites and produces an image like this showing us Brits how to do it, you can go off some people  Great to see you again mate and I am so pleased you got some good stuff and the weather was kind for us as well. Great Shot.

Only two at a time, what are you messing about at. Andy warned me about this sort of thing.
I can't even keep one in the frame, so I am seriously impressed. Great shot.
