Hi Everyone

I haven't posted anything for ages so thought I should get round to it again! Here are a pair of eider ducks mating at Blyth from this April. Watching their behaviour was just great - I'll post the run up to this tomorrow, or soon!

Canon 5D, 100-400IS L lens, bean bag, quite a crop due to "short" lens at 275mm (can't recall why!), f5/6, 1/1000s, ISO 100.

BTW, think one of your pictures may have been in the Guardian today (June 2nd): on Page 7, Media section, 1/8 page, AC2G2W, Matthew Doggett. (Nice pants! :biggrin:)

Excellent shot Matt! As has been said, good exposure control for the blacks and whites. Your pants are proving very popular then :wink:

That's interesting - the sale hasn't shown up on Alamy yet. I've made a lot out of the blue pants so it's nice the red ones get a look in! I'll have to get a copy...
