I finally got out to spend the night in the mountains, I went to an area that I have been wanting to camp in a long time. There is something about the glacial cirque of Mt. Guyot and from South Park.
Whoah, dude! Tone down the blues in that first one, they're positively iridescent! The sky is almost acceptable, but the blue in the shadows is over the top. You've got a really nice shot there, just needs some (less) work.
Did you make it up towards Guyot at all, or did you camp out in South Park somewhere? Looks like the road up to Georgia Pass would still be buried, judging by your pics.
Sweet Pano, the corrected version is better!. The cloud in the 2nd one is pretty nice, too bad it wasn't a little lower to be able to be used in the Pano. What a spot to camp at!.
Paul, I still think there's a ways to go in toning down the blues. They still practically glow in the dark. But you're moving in the right direction for sure.
The road is not too bad until you get just about up to the pass. It's mostly just a washboardy gravel road. But once over the pass, fuggedaboudit! It's 4WD all the way.
Does this still look okay to you, Paul? I darkened and un-saturated the blues some. Hope you don't mind me taking some liberties. If so, I'll delete my post.

Todd: I stayed in a free campsite on the bottom of Georgia Pass. I am curious, what is the road like further up? Is it a 4 wheel drive road?
