Same location shown in my "spring" thread. Another awesome light show tonight ...

WOW, that sky is incredible.

That is spectacular! I would try to even out the brightness at the extreme rhs where it gets a bit dark--this shot is definitely worth some work.

Fantastic Jesse.

I would not mess with the URC. As is the photo "reads" from top left to bottom right.

Excellent.

Awesome image, Jesse. Those colors are magnificent, and as a whole this image is a stunner.

What a stunner, Jesse! I'm with Stan on the dark spot. It's a tad distracting.
Your new home suits you. :toast:

Jesse,

I am really glad that you are out and shooting in your new home! And this image is awesome! I love the color, composition and drama in the sky. I can't wait to see more!

Have you checked out the Tetons yet? Watch out for grizzlys out there. I know you do a lot of hiking/backpacking photo adventures. It looks like you are getting the most out of your new diggs and gear too. And there is a lot to explore and do in Big Sky country.

There you go again! That is too much! Congratulations on another stunner.

Woah. Incredible. Glad to see you getting out more... can't wait to see what you come up with this summer!

Beautiful scene, Jesse. Love the comp, spring greens and gorgeous sky. I would consider lightening the right hand side of the sky. It looks a tad bit unnatural against the lighter mountains at the horizon.

Just beautiful. Well done. :toast:

This thing rocks the house, I think I can see the walls of the barn shaking.

Wow is all I can say. Just....wow.

This is fantastic Jesse. Did you get any shots of the double rainbow?

Harold

The weather around here has been pretty inspiring lately. Thanks for the feedback everyone.

I hastily posted this last night, after a two minute processing job (double processing blend). I certainly plan to clean it up a bit.

I sure did, Harold. It was actually the rainbow that inspired me to race across town to the barn location. I got there just in time for the best of the fading light. Here's the rainbow from our deck.

Impressive! This should motivate me to get out and photograph some of the nice clouds around Colorado over the next day or two. I don't know if it will, but in theory it should .

Jesse,

Awesome shot...looks like some mammatus clouds after a storm...not too sure, though. Again, excellent!

Mind-numbingly dramatic!

Wow! That's an impressive photograph. The sky alone could carry an image, but with the barn and the scene in general... powerful stuff. I'd love to see it again after the additional processing work.

That sky reminds me of the storm and Darren, Jennifer and I witnessed about this time last year on Beartooth Pass. Amazing weather up that way, for sure - keep 'em coming!

wow, those clouds are something, I am expecting to see lighting coming out of it and then giant tripod death machines coming out of the ground with clouds like that
