A different Common Blue...
40D, Sigma 180mm, 1/200@f8, ISO400, tripod, cable release.

Another shot from Sunday, a more traditional view this time, albeit a tatty individual!

Nicely done Greg, you're right the wings are a bit tatty.. Good detail and colour and BG is great also. I would be tempted to remove that seed head on the left of the lower part of the stem, I don't think it adds anything and can be a little distracting, a very little nit mind..! Otherwise it's good for me and thanks for sharing.

This is great inspiration to me at the moment as i have just started really working hard with my macro and flash. I was attempting this just the other day and was not so good but if you don't try you won't succeed !

Yep, wings are a little tatty, but still a very fine shot. Love a good diagonal composition with these. :toast: :toast:
