I have just returned from a week in Mull, boy! was it hot up there.I had gone there with the intention of getting some good Otter shots, how ever the Otters had other ideas, while we saw them every day,I never really got a chance to get a close encounter with one, but that's a good excuse to have another go.The Curlew was just sitting there one morning, and as I got closer ,and closer it stayed put,and gave me the chance of a few good shots.I have a few other images to show you in the next few weeks so watch this space...

Great shot Stewart. Did you do a whale watching trip and get up to Lunga for the puffins and razorbills? I'd love to go again some time.

That's a nice evocative shot against the light, perhaps a bit off the right but a nice shot all the same.

Also agree with Eric about the cropping but otherwise really like it. Particularly like the background detail - enough to get a 'feel' of the habitat.
