Purple Invasion (in the Gorge)
Had to go visit family in Hermiston....driving back in harsh light...but couldnt pass this one up...with Mt. Hood opening up in the background. I will try to revisit next weekend with better light...hope the plethora of lupine (I think that is what it is called) is still going strong...want to capture this with a sunset.

Great Lupine and nice weather. Amazing view of Hood. The rocky crag adds a nice element. This does look like a great location to revisit with some interesting light. Some of the colors here, particularly the blues in the sky, seem cooked a bit too much.

Roman,
Not a bad shot at all despite the lighting. Definatly worth going back and hoping for the "sweet light"
