Whitethroat
Another Whitethroat image from Saturday. I debated a long time over leaving the flower in or not and finally decided to keep it. I know some will not like it but all opinions and comments are welcome.

i love it! its great to see something a bit diff, i think we have to carefully consider this cloning lark as afterall it is nature we are shooting!! a little care when shooting can eliminate the clone! i love this shot, the flower gives it something, best one for a while!

Looks ok to me Lawrence except for the highlight on the twig and the throat. Little less contrast might help. Nice though.
Cheers

an excellent pose and composition. Agree about the hot twig and throat but everything else is very nice. I don't mind the flowers at all.

Nicely done Robert :toast:

You have 'seized the moment' well, by catching the bird in the clear!!

Flowers look fine to my eye, thanks to the birds position within the comp.

Hope you find time to continue with them, before the young fledge.

I'm hoping to have another crack very soon {assuming mine are still around}, and this time armed with my flash {more weight to lug around, for the next couple of months}.

I hate to complain about sunshine in the UK, but the sun gets too high....too quick, at this time.

Nicely done :toast:
