Same kid, off of the same jump, but way up in the air.
The top of the ramp was about ten or twelve feet off the ground. These guys hit it at a good clip and probably got shot 20 or so feet off the ground. From the end of the jump to the beginning of the landing was probably 20-25 feet.

Go here to see Dillon's biff. http://youtube.com/watch?v=CfutovpsdsM

This is the kid who broke his collar bone, Dylan, actually, on this same jump. There are two jumps side by side, this one is the "easier" of the two. They did the jumps five or six times each without mishap, later that day, on their second session down the hill, was when Dylan biffed and got hurt.

Pretty impresive stuff. Jumping that high on a pair of skis is scary. I remember I used to go over four to five foot jumps with my old stingray three speed. My banana seat was ben't 90 degrees from landing.

Is this where I get to say, "Boys will be boys..."

Okay, well..., uh..., I had the same adventure with horses. Rode with pants afire and loved jumping. Never fell off 'til I took lessons... Bent my banana seat, too... Good thing it was built like a Schwinn and didn't break. Ouch.
Boy! it's fun though! :jump:
