I have three groups of these flowers growing in the shady area of my front yard (two at the base of a large oak tree. The plant consists of thin, grass-like leaves radiating from a central point, then tall (8-inch) stalks with these flowers at the top. Anyone have a suggestion?
I have an image of the same flowers, Chuck, and I was under the impression that it's Star of Bethlehem, but I could be wrong. I like your composition and the water drops..very nice!
I think you're right, Toni. Thanks. A quick Google search found this tidbit: "The foliage and bulbs contain toxic alkaloids that can poison livestock. The cooked bulbs are reportedly edible to humans, although suitable caution should be exercised." Well, yeah.
