OK another from my recent Mull trip, I found a group of nesting birds, they seem to like nesting in huge beds of Yellow Flags, that seem to be every where in the Island. They would fly up into the air at the approach of any other bird and make their distinctive call.On this day there was a good stiff breeze blowing and they just hovered in the air,so getting a decent flight shot was not so difficult Stewart................. :toast:

Lovely flight shot Stewart. I reckon it would be even better if the bird were over to the right so that its flying "into " the frame so th speak.
Still nice.

Nice shot. I agree with JohnR.
But I know how difficult that is. I have most of the time the same problem with blackheaded gulls.

Super flight shot Stewart. Nice to see so much detail and to have it calling.
