Damselfly Emerging
I think this has got to rank as one of the best things to see in the Natural world it is so amazing. I found the larve crawling up the reed stem at first light and then photographed the whole sequence.

Canon 1D MK11, 180mm Lens, 1/160, F9, iso 200

great shot Danny, and I agree it is a remarkable sight. I've seen many emerging damsels over the years but one thing I've never seen is the larvae actually crawling up the stem. You did very well to spot that.
