Mona monkey in Ghana
This is a mona monkey in Boabeng-Fiema Monkey Sanctuary in Ghana, taken in March this year. They're very entertaining little monkeys and the experience there was on a par with seeing the Zanzibar red colobus. A horde of about 100 people tried to ruin it by crowding around some of the monkeys and expecting them to perform tricks  . Luckily they quickly got bored when the monkeys understandably ran away, leaving the place in peace again!

Hi Adam,

Lovely detailed capture of an interesting monkey! Unusual refreshing background!

Sorry Adam, I missed this one.
What a lovely shot of an unusual subject. If it was mine I would try another crop. Perhaps a LS with the monkey toward the bottom right hand corner walking up and across the frame. If you don't have enough spare picture, lose a little off the right and a bit more off the top. If you were too dampen those highlights as well and lose the stray branch, I think it would be a real beauty. He looks very intent on where he is going.
