I'm currently in Moab with my wife, folks, and a friend from Switzerland. To make a long story short, the folks blew up the engine in their car last night. I can get everyone in my car tomorrow for the trip back but getting all the gear and 5 people in a Ford Contour is going to take some divine intervention.

Thought I'd try my luck and see if anyone is currently in Moab and heading back on I-70 tomorrow that may be willing to haul some extra bags and drop them off in Rifle (30 miles west of Glenwood). If so, you can reach me on my cell 303-362-3551. Thanks!!!!

Bummer on the engine. I think there's a U-Haul company in Moab.

Tony,

If you guys need to store the bags at my place until they can be picked up or shipped you're welcome to. Let me know.

Thanks to everyone who responded! Here's the latest. We found a strap on canvas car top carrier which should be large enough to carry the extra "stuff". We'll know for sure in the morning when we load it up. I'm certain we're going to have a "lowrider" for a couple of hours on the journey back to Rifle  .

Tony: Don't be surprised if you get stopped by a trooper who suspects you of transporting illegal narcotics.
