Firstly, apologies to those who posted comments on my last posting, as I have not replied yet because I had to quickly shoot up north before I could reply :frown:

Hopefully things will now change

Caught this rather majestic character walking across one of the 'hippo channels' in the Kwetsani area of Botswana

Very nice, i like the colours and the contrast between the bird and the surroundings. You dont see them every day... well not round my parts

Great colours and pose!
The reflection works well also.

What a bird, I wish for the one a step earlier the reflection must have been something, still splendid though as always.

Beautiful bird and some fantastic colours-would have liked it a tad to the right to to decentralise the bird, get a better reflection and give the bird room to move into-must look good in print

Glorious colour Steve {both bird, and setting} :toast:

A very fine, and attractive shot :toast:

Further to the right for me too, but what a fantastic contrast between the colours of the bird and its environment. A beauty.

Thanks guys. Know what you mean DC, but guess I need to practice more rather than snatching
