The female just having a few minutes out of the nest box. The male was feeding like mad.

Has anyone noticed that they make a loud clip noise when manovering at high speed? The male was feeding very close to me (with in a few feet and when catching flies on the wing it happened almost every time) infact the male landed on the end of my lens!

Same specs as before.

Lovely setting for this bird.
Perhaps smothening the BG just a little might improve this even more.

That's really nice Paul, is the noise not the beak clicking shut on another unfortunate insect?

Hi Eric,
I dont think so, it seems too loud for the skull and beak size. It would have to be a pretty huge force to make the clip noise if it was?
