Great Skua in Flight
It was a lovely evening here last night after some rubbish weather, so I had to go out for some pictures. This one is of a bonxi in flight against the light.

Canon EOS 30D
Canon 300 f/4 L IS
ISO 400
1/1000 at f/5.0
Bag hide

Certainly an unusual image Adam. You obviously have to rely on the distinctive shape of the skua to identify it and I have to say that the more often I look at it the more I like it.
Robert.

I haven't seen many pictures of these before, and this is another nice shot Adam. I can't help wishing for a little more detail in the dark areas. It might be worth trying a bit of fill light on the raw file and see what happens.
