Lake Pueblo Erupts
I was jogging near Pueblo Res. yesterday, and immediately realized that the clearing storms moving to the east would likely produce an outstanding sunset. So, i finished my run and grabbed my camera, then drove to the lakeshore. Here's the scene as i arrived.

The reds started appearing shortly before sunset.

This is post-peak. I only had a minute or two to compose for peak color, scrimmaging through the mud, will post the best color on ESS shortly.

I was watching the show from home last night, wishing I could get to somewhere that would work, but knowing it was too late. Glad you caught it. I like the second shot due to the great color on the lake surface.

Great color. I actually like the mix of colors in the last one best.

Too bad there are no shots of the dedicated photographer & tripod knee deep in mud.

#3 gets my vote. That's some great color and the reflections really work.

Stan, I think your #3 here is better than your ESS post. The color is great on the ESS post, but #3 is just a beautiful image. Nice work.
