I am heading up to Redwood National Park this week and need to get some nice beach images. So far I have been told that Trinidad beach is really good. Anybody know of any other spots near RNP to shoot?
Thanks,

I'm heading up there on Wednesday morning til Saturday. Maybe we'll cross paths.
I'm thinking of Gold's Beach and Patrick's Point as far as the seascape goes.
Thanks for the two suggestions, I will definitely look into them. I will be driving a white Subaru wagon with surf stickers on it. Just holler if you see me!

Trinidad so far is the best I've seen. The ones near the RNP border are flat and featureless for the most part.
A friend and I just came back from an 8 day rhododendron and redwood quest up there. Rhode petals have mostly fallen off by now but there are still some good spots. I've seen the many Trinidad sunset and dusk shots through the years but was surprised to find that perspective wasn't close to what I thought was much better in that area. Trinidad Head itself has buildings and structures obviously sticking up on it that one would need to Photoshop out if that is your style. Areas just south have lots of noname interesting seastacks that require a bit climbing down bluffs to reach. Get a good topo. The High Bluff Overlook has a view south to searocks and coastlines far to the south. The coast north of the Klamath River mouth also has some sea rocks one can orient west from the Coastal Trail. The area between Crescent City and Point St George also offers some offshore rock situations though it is a winter direction.
