A regular bather at one of my pools, but its taken a while for it to overcome its waryness of a remote camera being in place, yesterday I got 9 very worthwhile frames on the 20D with a 20-35mm, one of the 1 series bodies will go in place today!
shot RAW; Breeze and CS3 as per my normal W/F.

Had to delete and repost as the image was moved in the host forums it was placed in, so I've lost your comments Tim, sorry!

A difficult one if light conditions change-very nice POV and good to see a wide used in nature photography

Wow, lovely, the perspective the wide angle gives is great!

This is a fantastic shot IMO. A very different PoV and not always an easy subject to expose well. I think a bit of AC rotation is required, but that is to take nothing away from a great shot.

Definitely a wow shot! Inspiring too as it makes me think I should get my remote unit out of my bag and make use of it! It would of been nice to have a shot of the Lapwing a step or two back so that its head had a clear BG but still it's a wonderful shot and good to see something a bit different.

Love the use of a wide angle here. So rarely seen - a completely new and refreshing POV. I can vouch for how time consuming the set-up of these remote cameras can be, not to mention actually capturing something sharp when you are shooting blind! A real achievement :toast: :toast: :toast:
