Ringed Plover
1D2N, 600mm f4 is x1.4TC, 1/1250s, f8, iso 200. First light of day. Slight crop.

Just back from a few days in the Outer Hebrides. Got up 5am to catch the morning sun. This little fellow gave me the run around for half an hour or so - and he can't half run fast!

You did great catching this little chap on the move Ian,

Nice crisp result, and definately worth the early start :toast: :toast:

Hi Ian,

Hope you enjoyed your holiday!

This is a cracking image and to get him on the run too! Marvellous stuff!

Looks as though he should have Wile E Coyote after him.

Lovely shot, he really looks like he is on a mission. Nice PoV, but that has lost the foot - it's hard to win them all.

Lovely shot, the leg lift really makes it for me, although that's slightly balanced out by the loss of the other leg!

Cheers,

Dan.
