I've got a friend who is lucky enough to be in Mongolia for the full solar eclipse on Aug 1. He asked me if I knew anything about photographing a solar eclipse and I told him that discounting a lot of experience with lens flare I don't. Has anyone here photographed a full solar eclipse and If so, would you please provide any info or lessons learned that you might have.

Many thanks.
Pat
