This is a shot taken at Cascade River State Park near Grand Marais, MN. I met a couple of photographers who were working on a book of state parks for the Minnesota Historical Society. I managed to get out just before they had 6” of rain and flooding.
I know this spot well, though I've never made an image in this exact spot. Cascade River is a great state park, and actually the place that I was first introduced to nature photography. I like your rendition here, though it feels tilted to the right. Good choice of shutter speed.
Do you remember the names of the photog's you met? I'm curious who they were.

Good exposure on the whole scene, Phil. I agree with Joel that the image appears to be tilted.
Thanks for the comments. Joel, Sorry I'm bad with names and I don't recall the names of the photographers. I'm not sure if it is tilted or it is an optical illusion. As I recall I was hanging over something at an odd angle to get the shot.
Love the shutter speed on this. The water flow is very cool in the bottom half. While it seems a bit tilted (especially at the top), I think the pov you chose is good and when you look at the bottom half, it doesn't appear to be tilted. Nice one...
