Guillemot in flight
Hi to all,

After spending a fruitless and very disapointing 3 days in Norfolk in search of Barnowls I decided another trip to Bempton to try and capture that illusive Razorbill in flight shot would cheer me up , after battling through the crowds I managed to reach my favourite spot between the viewing points , once set up and with a Razorbill in the frame I rattled off a 25 shot burst , with a big grin on my face I thought I must have nailed it this time but no my nemesis had alluded me once again , guess i'll just have to keep trying  , so here's another Guillemot , thoughts on the comp would be appreciated , thanks for looking.

Ive got a feeling that darned razorbill shot is just around the corner Andy, although you can take comfort in this cracking guillimot shot :toast: :toast:

Looks comfortably framed to my eye, and a nicely detailed shot of the chap!!

Not an easy bird to get in flight so this is a good'un-great exposure with lots of detail in the whites and wings

Hi Andrew,

I like this very much!! Nice exposure with details in the black's and white's. I hope to get something half as good when I am there in 3 weeks time  :jump:

If you are ever in Suffolk give me a shout and you can come and have a go at my Barn Owl's

Regards

Nice flight-shoto with a good angle. Mayby a tad more contrast ?

Looks about right to me, but agree could be a little "punchier", but that may loose some dark detail.

Excellent detail in this shot and the exposure looks spot on to me, but I would say it is maybe a bit flat. A small nit though.
