This is the first image from my newly set up hide (the Ameristep Dog House) which I have to say,so far has been very good.We had quite a gale blowing last night, but all was in tact this morning.
I am quite lucky with this Owl,as it likes to hunt in the mornings, this shot was taken at 7.30am to day,so no fading evening light, although some times the morning light can be quite harsh...

That works for me - ticks all the right boxes. Hope to see more from the Doghouse!

Hi Stewart,

Lovely shot. Pin sharp and I like the shape of the wings, hard to tell from here if it is a male or female, but I reckon it's out late finding food for little mouths!!

Nice work

Hello

Nice shootin'.

You'd better get up even earlier - as the light's 3 hours old by 07:30. Of course, it'll be cloudy and wet now for the rest of summer so you'd better content yourself with this one!
