Me and Tom Kennon spent a very hot humid evening down on the cossatot. I water level was right were I wanted to photograph at. It was a late drive back but worth the effort.

I always think it's interesting to see the results of two photographers shooting the same location. The use of a quicker shutter speed nicely captures the water's motion and I like the warm tones you've brought out in this one. Nice job!

I like both Gale, but find this one more to my liking because of the warmer tones throughout. I too like the shutter speed for this one, some motion but not silky smooth either ... a good compromise. Very nice shot.
Gale, this is a very nice composition of a great spot. Your pano really shows more of the area. Man, I almost forgot how humid it was down there Sunday!
Excellent composition Gale. There is a subtle repeating pattern of diagonal lines formed by the rocks, and you've got the water leading the eye from top center through the image and then down to the left. The fast shutter speed has also rendered an uncommonly high amount of color in the water. It seems like in just about every photo I've seen of Cossatot Falls the water is almost all white.
I like both images as well Gale. This one though with the warmer tones to the rock, and the way the water leads the eye through the image would be my favorite.
