Sanderling
Not being that brilliant with waders I was really excited when I saw this as I thought it was a rare red necked stint but it weren't. At least i now know what a summer plumage Sanderling looks like. 1d2n sigma 1.4 and canon ef400 f5.6

Looks more like a male Little Stint to me.

A nice clean little portrait.

It is a Sanderling the diagnostic feature is that it does not have a hind toe.

Looks like a Sanderling to me but I,m no wader man..
Good shot considering the speed these guys go.

Whatever it is, it's very nice indeed. Perhaps a little too far over to the left, but that's a matter of preference.

Hi Craig, Sorry my mistake, it is a Sanderling.

A lower viewpoint would have been nice if possible and I might clean up the upper right of the bg, but like the negative space, the way these things move its nice for them to have plenty of room to run into.
