Skomer-Puffin+ Repost
Hi there

Thank you all for the kind words about my "Little Owl" i'm very very very happy with it!

So here's a more normal Skomer shot. Taken late in the afternoon at the wick. Another 1st for me and i have to say i'm addicted!!!!!!

One of the nicest things about staying on the island is the time you have to put the camera down and just watch your subject.

Thanks looking

Kevin

Tack sharp, nicely exposed and a cracker of a BG Kev :toast:

I might be tempted to crop a bit off the left just to make the portrait a little more dynamic but it's a super image :wavey:

Yes - that will do for me.!
I think I agree with Andy about a little off the left.

Great detail in this. It certainly would look very dramatic and different with the suggested crop and I think it would work.

Is this enough?

Wonderful image, painfully so :frown: I had intended on being on Skomer this week, today actually but had to cancel my trip at the last minute. This is a really great portrait Kevin and I prefer the re-post version. I'm in the process of sorting out a weeks stay on Skomer next year

Looks lovely Kevin, all too often I see examples of overuse of shadow/highlight giving an almost grey coloured Puffin. :toast:
