Great Crake shot major ( a bird I've not seen )
Not sure about the daisies but you can't pick and choose with stuff like this I know. If you could darken them down maybe , but not sure how !
Cheers

Is it OK to ask roughly where this was taken [eg which scottish island or region?]
It is a superb image and like Nigel, I think the foreground is evocative of the bird's [threatended] habitat,
Marcus this was taken on North Uist. I spent a week there from 17th-24th May.
Many thanks to everybody for your comments.
I do think the daiseys are a personal thing so I do understand.
Stunning shot Major - personally I think that the daisies are only a bit dominating because of the space at the top - if the top is cropped a bit they balance the composition nicely.

Great as is. I wouldn't alter a thing.

The daisies don't bother me at all - they give a sense of scale. Nice to see a shot of a corncrake that isn't heads up calling. Well done.

Just to clarify my comment.I agree the daisies put the habitat into context etc. - just the brightness of them takes my eye off the bird. .

I'm with John. The daisies are GOOD but need toning down a bit ( I think so - anyway!)
