Gotcha !
Fox
After a good few hide hours I,ve got the Vixen fairly settled and using the gap in the fence. She knows I,m there though. The eyes go straight through you.

Your comments are appreciated.
I won't get a lot more chance with these,, as they are getting pushed out by badgers. If we put food out they turn up and act like gastronomic hoovers.!

John,

This is cracker. I just discovered not one but two fox dens with cubs near the house. One cub in one and two in the other, I have just started the hard hours in the hide. Got some shots but nothing like this.

Well done.

a lovely portrait John, and a really nice natural setting. You must be very pleased with this one.

The low angle and the expression on the face of the fox make this.

Wonderful shot of this fox in a sweet setting!
Well done!
Your perseverance paid off!

Thanks very much evryone for looking. I have to say I am quite pleased as it's my first planned fox series. The vixen came with the cub tonight but I was giving them a rest. The dog looks almost identical head on except that the vixen has two small marks on her nose end.
As Robert says she is in really great condition.
Thanks again
Back to wet dickies tomorrow Major  :toast: :jump:
