Go visit Muir Woods just across the GG Bride on the Oakland side. I also really like the beaches in Mateo county but they are state beaches and the ranger enforce the sunset closing time. You can also continue north until you get to Point Reyes, nice area to view Elk in the early hours. A tion of stuff to see there, can't wait for my next trip
