Hey everyone, just wanted to toot my own horn and give you all a heads-up. I got my first magazine cover publication coming out in the July/Aug issue of the Mammoth Sierra Magazine. They used this image. I hope it looks ok as they had to crop it in half. I was surprised they chose to do that! They also said they were going to use this one as a half page spread in their Photo Gallery section.
The current May/June issue has a half page spread, Alabama Hills pages 24-25, taken last Jan. when I met up with Paul Breitkreuz.
The July/Aug issue should be out by June 30. So if you are in the ES grab a copy, they're free!
The summer heat has finally arrived in the OV w/ temps in the high nineties. The 'sqeeters were out in numbers last weekend in little lakes valley, specifically at heart lake.
There's still snow on the trails above 10.5K in places. The flowers are starting to migrate their way up the slopes. In LLV just a few types showing. Should be coming out in force I'd think in the next 2-3 wks in LLV.

Thanks guys! Hopefully this will help get some prints sold to the locals.
Lon: yep, I got a respectable amount for the cover. Though it won't cover the new tripod and ball head I just ordered! One step at a time.
