Hi everyone,
is it just me, or have you noticed as well that the forums have been often down along the last month? Also the speed is considerably slower than in the recent past. What's going on?

yup, I had trouble getting to the forums earlier this afternoon....but I was able to access many other websites with large content, so it wasn't my connection...

Yes, it's been quite slow and spotty for the past month or so.

We are aware of the problem (major load spikes on the server) and are trying to track down its source. Thanks to all for your patience while we work at resolving the issue!

I too have had a major problem trying to access the forums. Very frustrating.

Me too...in fact, the problems have been so widespread over the past month or so that I've dramatically cut back on critiques in the IC forums. Practically every time I've had time for critiquing I've had access problems. :frown:

My troubles have been around maybe 1:00am Eastern Standard Time (plus or minus what ever the current Daylight Saving Time thing is). I figured it was just I was logging in during maintenance time. Yeah, I'm up that late :smile: Sometimes I actually get some sleep!
