Hmm Nice, but i know the central police will be here ;) Good to see the beak full of sandeels! I've had enough doom and gloom recently about bird numbers!

A very nice, sharp image only let down slightly by the centered composition. Nothing a small crop wouldn't sort though.

Whatever - centre or off-centre - it's a pleasing enough shot. At least you've got some rare blue sky in there and the exposure is good the time of day. It would have been nice to have been able to get some lower side-lighting on the bird to bring out the detail under the wings, but it ain't possible with the boat times on the farnes - not sure about how far off you where as you've not posted any techs - you could possibly have used the americans favourite technique and used a better beamer and flash to add some fill-in flash to the bird.
