Finally my AS level exams are out of the way so I've been able to get out and take a few new shots. This is of the Wash at sunset. Let me know what you think.
Hi Tom. Looks like a great sunset and you've certainly got loads of detail here. Before trying LF I don’t think I really appreciated what detail could add to a picture and it’s such a shame it can’t be conveyed in a web sized image.
I’m not absolutely sure on the composition of this one but it’s hard to put my finger on why. Possibly something to do with the highlights appearing quite bright on my screen – maybe darken them a little/lose a little contrast - particularly in the brightest reflections. Quite likely my screen. Or possibly the water on the left leading out of the image despite the clouds nicely mirroring the shape.
The horizon looks like it could do with a little counter clockwise tilt but that is totally insignificant. The colours are very realistic and I absolutely love the vignetting!
