I would like to introduce myself. My name is Scott and I just signed up officially today with NENP. I shoot primarily with a Nikon D300 and have a D200 for a back up. I use a MacBook Pro linked to a 30"HP monitor. I primarily use Adobe Lightroom and sometimes Photoshop itself. I always shoot in RAW and still have much to learn(especially flash). I have learned much from the great photographers here. I will try to contribute to posts here when I can.
I went to the White Mountains this weekend and caught this reflection at Chocorua Lake. I managed to photograph some good lupine fields and Upper Falls, too, in Bretton Woods.
Glad to see your 'first image' on here. This is a great shot...I love the sweeping diagnals in the foreground reflection...they reallly lead you into the frame. They whites in the sky are a bit hot, but well handled. Not much you can do with those summer puffy clouds getting blown out anyway. If I can find one nit...I'd adjust the slight clockwise rotation.
I still have an evening shoot with you on the radar...I'll contact you when it looks like a free night or two is coming...
Hi Scott!! Welcome to the forum!!! This scene is really beautiful...almost doesn't look real. You've captured it nicely. Jim did point out the nits so I won't need to. Looking forward to more posts and comments.
