I'm selling my Nikon 18-200mm, F3.5-5.6, ED, AFS, VR lens.

Price $500.

Lens is clean with no marks on body or glass. Lovingly cared for!

Genuine USA product which I bought new and have the box.

I'm going to switch to a combo of 18-55 and 55-200 to see how that works.

Bill,

I own the 18-200 "desert island" lens and like it a lot - I also recently added the 16-85mm and that thing is incredible. It's a very, very sharp and versatile lens in a relatively small package. I also like the additional wide angle at the 16mm (24mm equivalent) end. Something to consider............

If I still had my 18-55mm i would have said lets trade. (plus some cash of course) Unfortunately i just got rid of my 18-55. I am now using just a 12-24 & the 55-200mm which i find works great... If i need the in between 24 & 55 I can always step forward or back a few feet.

Thanks guys for your comments, I also have the 12-24mm and love it, I use it for most of my landscape work, like you Dave I need something wider than 18mm. I have the 105mm macro which is fine for macro and short telephoto and portrait stuff and I have the 300/4 and TC17 for longer work. When I analyse my shots I see a lot at wide angle, some at 200mm and some at 300 and 500mm. Few shots between 55 and 200mm so I could in theory get a prime 200mm but they are more pricy and heavier. I value weight as well as cost.

If I had your money Paul then I would. Although they'd be too heavy anyway. :-)
Anyway he also says do the 18-55 and 55-200.
