Off-trail in the Columbia River gorge...Everything that was alive here was moving to the steady groove that the waterfall was spinnin'. Even at iso800 and 1/30th of a second, I couldn't get the foliage to stand still! So I present to you the remixed version, with a kick butt 138BPM min breakbeat track spun by the waterfall that nobody could resist dancing to.....

Very nice. I like the comp a lot, especially the log leading my eye into the image. Nice texture to the water too.

I like the idea here, John, but would like to see more of the falling water in front of the FG stone.

Really nice John! I wouldn't have thought of it myself but I like Marc's suggestion about more falling water in the foreground.

I like the composition and the foreground very much. I am wondering if opening the lens up to a faster setting and allowing the background to blur/soften might not solve the dancing plants?

Nice, John. I like the BG/FG contrast. How did you get the FG so blue? Do you have enough MP to produce another image by cropping out the FG? And, do you have any comments on my Crescent Beach Sunset B&W post -- since you were there when the image was captured.

While the log does lead into the photo, the falls seem to far away from this perspective and the foreground doesn't grab me as much as the background. I like the exposure and color, and the blur at this resolution isn't offensive.

This is a very nice shot !! At some point we have to stop moving away & take the shot. I do wonder if you could get another 6 inches of the falling water in the foreground? I also think that dancing leaves can have a pleassant effect.
