If you can predict what these are liable to do next your a good un, as the saying goes. All adds to the excitement though.

Nice and sharp picture. I like the backu/side light. Also the shining in his eye.

Good image, the warm tones really convey a sense of the 'time of day' too!

You must have thousands of these fellows by now - yet I know the addiction when you get subjects like this and lighting to boot!!

You can never have to many Mark. There is always the chance that the next one will far outshine your best to-date.
I almost packed up and went home as the light went completely.
Five minutes later this strip of land surrounded by crops was bathed in great evening light.
Thanks for the comments.

Another mighty fine hare shot Major - you've produced some astonishing Lepus images this year - I hate you   :wavey:

Very nicely shot, I like the golden light, was it early morning?
How do you find the D3 for tracking moving subjects? please say its no good as I am looking for reasons not to buy one!

Still playing about with it Tony but it appears to be far better than my D2X's.for tracking.
Not happy with settings I am using to-date.though. Feel its got more to offer.
Taken in the evening.
These are all my friends down here in Hare City Andy. In fact at times the Hare traffic is pretty busy.  Dont you just love it.

Awesome, would love to have a bit of time to get out and do some Hare pics. I know of a coupe of places but they are about an hour from home and time just doesn't allow at the moment. Still, I love sitting and viewing yours, gives me something to aspire to.. Superb light and detail throughout. Thanks for sharing.

A really cheeky looking pose, and I like the shoots springing up: think they add something extra to the image
