Back to twigs and perchers.
Redstart.
I don't go a bundle on plain backdrops usually but things don't always work out. This latest redstart sat on every perch except the one I had planned. No rings either.

Lovely shot of the bird John :toast:

No dought the bird sat on your planned perches, when you had packed-up for the day

Can't make up my mind if the framing/crop is comfortable for me, as it falls somewhere between a pano......and a conventional rectangle, although i can see it may be a difficult decision.

Thanks Alan.
I suppose it.s better to have the space around it than too big in the frame. I know what you mean though.

Thank you.
A very photoigenic species ( a pretty job), but hard to get right I find.
Glad you like.

Hi John,

Have spent some time photographing these birds this and last week myself, and they are real beauties as you say.

Like the clean simplicity of this, and they sit where they want to after all!

Hello John, you say you don't normally go a bundle on plain backgrounds but I feel the additional leaves in shot help to frame this and so breaks up the 'plain' background somewhat. Very attractive bird.

Really sharp John and lots of details across all the colours, just maybe a little central for me, but that's just nit-picking and its a better shot than I'd manage!

Thanks again all.
I reckon I could get it left a bit.
Having terrible phone line problems at the moment so a little conservative with my comments till its sorted.
Cheers
