Hi folks,

The themes for the next few weeks include:

Weekly Challenge #338 (06/29/08 - 07/05/08) July 4th Celebrations - Submitted by Sandy Richards. Red, White, and Blue Colors, Fireworks

Weekly Challenge #339 (07/06/08 - 07/12/08) Nature Displays of Warning - Submitted by Wayne Jones. Thorns on bushes, startling colors, snakes, rattles, fangs, low, low tides that come before a Tsunami hits land.

Weekly Challenge #340 (07/13/08 - 07/19/08) Emotions - Submitted by Wim Reyns. Show us an image that evokes an emotion with you, and tell us why--Anger, sadness, joy, etc.

Weekly Challenge #341 (07/20/08 - 07/26/08) Stitched Panoramics - Submitted by Wim Reyns. Panoramic shots created with multiple photos. Indicate how many photos were used to create the finished panoramic.

Now for the request part.

Please support each other by making comments on other images submitted by your fellow photographers.

I'm going to be somewhat out of commission and may not be able to make comments due to hand surgery which is taking place on July 10th. No idea how much nor for how long my typing will be affected

But since only my right hand is involved, I'm sure I'll be able to login in and look at wonderful images :jump:

Thanks, guys (that includes you ladies, too  )

Carol

Good luck with your surgery, however this raises a question I had posed to a friend recently: Do the camera companies, i.e. Canon, Nikon offer a left handed model or adapter bracket? I play alot of sports and have suffered many breaks, tears or separations requiring a sling or cast and my more recent involvement in photography led to this inquiry.
If not, this is my idea and I will become a millionaire. HA-HA

Folks, thx for the good wishes.

I just had the funniest thought. The AF on my camera is misbehaving and I'm spending an inordinate amount of time searching the 'net for the answer. I think I'm so concerned about the camera that I've not had a spare moment to even think about the pending surgery. Maybe the forces in the Universe are cooperating to distract me and keep me occupied :jump:

At any rate, I hope all of you pitch in and make comments on WC images. I couldn't ask for anything more. Well, yeah, I hope someone somewhere has an Nikon D200 AF answer

I wish you the best on your surgery, Carol, and hope it doesn't keep you out of action for too long. Hopefully, it will be astonishingly pain free and mobile after surgery and rehab. :wavey:
