Sunset in The Smokies
Tough day at the office Wednesday...Wife out of town and my daughter was spending the night with Gandma. So what do I do...?

Quick trip over to the Smokies for a Sunset shot!

My stress faded away as the sun set over the horizon to the soft melody of the wood thrush singing off in the distance.

Some of you may recognize this location...

The sky was certainly working for you.

How do you like the 10-22, Harold? I've only used the 17-85 for landscapes but I'm renting the 10-22 for a trip in July. Any suggestions?

Lance,

I love the 10-22. It is incredible how much you can get into one shot.
Now there are a few things you give up when using this lens... most notably are your vertical lines. At 10mm anything to the left or right of the center line tends to fall off in the same direction. You can over come some of these tendencies with photoshop.

Call me and I can give you a full review with real examples.
