Brown Bear reflection
Hi guys,

During the night the water went dark and this bear was just in the right posision. I like the reflection in this one.

iso 400 1/160 sec. F4,5

Beautiful shot Edwin, I really like the warm light on this image and it gives a real sense of serenity. I like the bears colour, the blonde head and silver body, again depicted in great light. Some might say about the shadow cast, but for me it just shows time of day/night and just sets things off nicely.

Well seen and taken.

You like it? You're not the only one matey :toast:

Fantastic atmosphere in the image Ed - that light has some great attributes and I'm very envious of the images both you and Danny got (even if he does call me names   )

Top shot sir :wavey:

a lovely shot Edwin. It's a treat to see such a beautiful animal in its natural environment and the reflection is the icing on the cake.

Hello Edwin, very nice shot of the bear! I love the reflection and the look in his(her) eyes! I was in the same area a week before you (I also met Marsel) and was really impressed with these creatures, an experience you dont soon forget,

I also checked out your webiste and must say, you shot a great series over there! :toast: Do you plan to go back there? I know I do! :wavey:

Top notch stuff.
Given the lack of wind, were you bothered by midges at all?

Cheers,
John

Thanks guys.

I will go back there some day. I really would like to shoot the Wolverines.
No midgets over there (yet) but a lot of Mozzies The repellent with 50% Deet completely removed the letters of my camera buttons  It's nasty stuff.

Just brilliant Edwin, that reflection is flawless
See you've found the downsides of DEET! Where mossie protection is crucial I wouldn't use anything else myself, but you've gotta keep it away from plastic!

Very nice, other than Danny's, I have never seen this type of shot ( i.e. forest lake/ bear )before, so it has a unique appeal.

Look forward to more
