Ok I have to get my fun in here too. It's really great to see all the Kansas landscape as of late.
I have been trying to get some type of morning sunrise shot in the flint hills for awhile now. All I can do is keep trying. I am attempting to do this with out any filters, such as a gnd. Just taking some multiple exposures and blending selected ones in ps. I have about 20 shots from this spot, 5 different sets of 4 exposures each as the sun was making its way over the hills. It really looked initially as if all were underexposed foreground and overexposed sunrise/sky.
This is a 2 exposure blend which after processing and tweaking the exposures slightly in the raw converter some more, (the sunrise was brought down -1.50 and the foreground up +.50 exposure) I managed to get something that looks close to what was there that morning. I seemed pleased with this.
Anyway, I seem to be rambling on a lot lately.
Brad I'm really liking this, lots to keep the eye interested, great color and composition. I especially like the 3 hillsides sloping in from the right.
I like the saturated greens of the hills and the way the sun has the star burst effect. Nice work blending the separate images together.

What a wonderful moment Brad. You've captured all the elements of a spectacular sunrise in the flint hills. Man, Ron's going to have to create a whole wing for Brad Mangas photography if you keep this up!
